Gwendal Gicquel, Managing Director of T3M, explains his approach: "Following a market study of existing traceability solutions, we chose VTG Connect. However, as this platform is a consultative tool for rail car tracking, we wanted to go further and exploit this data for the benefit of T3M and our customers. This is why we called upon Everysens. »

Optimising railway activity thanks to digital technology

The Everysens platform integrates sophisticated business intelligence tools, meeting all of T3M's needs in terms of business optimization.

Amongst other things, operational staff have real-time information on train delays and wagon retention. Decision-makers, for their part, have access to relevant indicators to support their strategic choices. The collaboration will enable T3M to maximize the profitability of its wagons and gain visibility on its wagons and convoys in order to ensure a high level of service quality for its end customers.

The railway ecosystem finally ready to renew itself?

This is what this new project seems to prove. "At VTG, we believe that rail freight must change today. The challenge is to efficiently transport ever-increasing volumes of freight. To meet this challenge, digitalization is our ally. Edouard Limouzy, sales representative for VTG France, assures us that "digitalization is our ally in meeting this challenge.

The plurality of rail traceability solutions does not necessarily mean confusion. Everysens and T3M demonstrate today that it is possible to combine different technologies within the same project, in order to satisfy the shipper. Thanks to the ITSS specification standard and its integration capabilities, the Everysens platform is able to understand and analyze data from VTG sensors.

"At a time when questions about the risk of a technological break-up of rail freight are emerging, this partnership is an example of interoperability and complementarity. Everysens retrieves data from VTG wagons and processes it to meet the challenges of our client T3M. I am very hopeful that this concrete project will show the way in the rail industry. "says Youness Lemrabet, founder and president of Everysens.

At the heart of logistics issues, data processing

This announcement took place during a party organized by Everysens at the Recyclerie in Paris, former station of the Petite Ceinture. Logisticians, freight forwarders, shippers and renters came to attend a series of quality interventions and to meet around a cocktail reception. The presentations focused on a key issue: what to do concretely with the tremendous amount of wagon data available today?

The various speakers, including Arnaud Desmonts, Mickaël Dumas, Philippe Aloyol, Peter Reinshagen and Raouti Chehih, discussed the opportunity that the information extracted from the wagon data represents today, and highlighted the many ROI levers that data processing drives.

Towards multimodal monitoring of operations

"T3M is a subsidiary of the Open Modal family group, which also owns bodies and chassis. This desire for analysis driven by T3M is part of a strong multimodal vision. In the long term, our ambition is to optimize our entire chain of activities. "says Antonin Brunier, partner of the Open Modal group.
