One change, and the rest follows: Bulk wagon sets updates are here!

This new TVMS feature saves you time and reduces the risk of errors when managing your fleet.

In a nutshell

When a wagon set changes, future transports using that set can now be updated in bulk directly from the first update you make. No more repetitive edits, no more risk of overlooking downstream transports. Everything stays aligned, in just a few clicks.

Managing wagon sets in rail freight is like managing chess pieces: every move affects the next. So when a wagon set changes, it’s rarely just one transport that needs adjusting. It's usually several.

Until now, updating future transports after a wagon set change meant going into each one manually. Time-consuming, repetitive, and risky… especially when juggling dozens of planned shipments!

That’s why we introduced Bulk Wagon Set Updates in Everysens.

Now, when you change a wagon set on one transport, you’ll instantly see all future transports using that same set. The best thing about it? You can update them all in one step.

More updates with less effort

Let’s say you swap Wagon Set A for Wagon Set B on an upcoming transport. Everysens will automatically scan your planning and display all upcoming transports (within the next 3 months) that were using Wagon Set A.

In a single pop-up, you’ll see the list (including references, routes, and timings) and be able to choose: apply the update to some, all, or just the one you started with.

One click, and every selected transport is updated automatically, as long as it meets the conditions (same wagon models, no product already planned). If not, we’ll notify you and link you directly to the ones that need manual attention. Easy, right?

4 ways bulk wagon sets updates make your operations more efficient

  • Save time on repetitive updates: No more clicking through individual transports to update the same thing over again.
  • Avoid costly oversights: Every transport using the original wagon set is flagged: you can’t forget one!
  • Keep your fleet running smoothly: Whether you're rotating sets, handling maintenance, or dealing with last-minute changes, your plans stay consistent.
  • Stay in control without slowing down: You decide what gets updated and when, with all the context you need in one screen.

What does it look like concretely?

A shipper managing their own wagon fleet needs to pull Wagon Set A from service for preventive maintenance. That set was already planned on six future transports in the next month.

Instead of tracking down each one manually, the planner updates just the first transport and Everysens suggests the rest. A couple of clicks later to select the impacted transports, everything’s aligned with the new plan. Done.

Less admin, more control

Wagon planning is complex enough. This feature helps you keep it clean, fast, and reliable, even when changes pop up.

One update. No loose ends. Less admin.
