Are you able to track my finished vehicles through their VIN?

Absolutely! With Everysens' VIN tracking feature, you gain real-time visibility into the exact location of each finished vehicle by its VIN. This capability allows you to monitor the status of your shipments with high precision, track your rail transport progress, and quickly identify and address any issues that arise. This tracking also applies to wagons and trains.

How do we plan transport on the TVMS?

It’s very simple! In our “Smart Planning” module, you can create a transport order in response to your customer order. All parties involved are informed of this order, so that they can reach a common agreement. Your AI assistant, RALF, then intervenes to optimize the route and train composition.

Can I see the theoretical route of my transport on a map?

Yes, the module displays both the current position and the theoretical route of your transport, providing comprehensive visibility for planning and monitoring.

How does the Real-Time Visibility module calculate the ETA of my transport?

The module leverages AI to analyze data from a global rail location database and multiple tracking sources. It automatically determines the theoretical journey and calculates ETAs based on the current position, ensuring accurate, real-time updates.

How does the TVMS automate loading instructions?

Is there an overview of train compositions?

The TVMS provides a comprehensive view of the entire train composition, including details of each wagon, cargo types, and placement, facilitating better management and operational planning.

Can Everysens help me avoid punctuality penalties?

What is the use of digitizing contractual specifications for consignment notes?

Allows users to input and manage all contractual details related to consignment notes electronically. It streamlines the process of documenting and adhering to contractual obligations associated with consignments.

What is the "Wagon Selector" and how does it optimize wagon choice?

The Wagon Selector tool helps users choose the most suitable wagons and wagon sets based on cargo type, volume, usage and other criteria, ensuring efficient use of resources and meeting operational requirements.

Does Smart Planning have the capability to help me stay informed about potential issues in my transport operations?

Yes, Smart Planning offers comprehensive dashboards that notify users of critical issues, such as transport cancellations by the carrier, insufficient wagons, missing departure dates, inconsistent customer orders, unmatched unloading slots, discrepancies between planned and actual products, previous transport delays, etc.

Can end customers access real-time visibility?

Until now, the information provided to customers was limited to the forecast arrival date of the shipment. Customers did not benefit from the visibility part of TVMS. Now they can. Today, thanks to artificial intelligence that predicts the estimated time of arrival (ETA), customers will be informed of the precise arrival time of their order.

How does RALF optimize transport plans within the TVMS?

RALF integrates the constraints of shippers, rail companies, sites and the entire ecosystem to build the most efficient transport plan.

How can RALF help with capacity planning?

RALF, our intelligent assistant, can automate your capacity planning for an entire year in less than a day. RALF takes into account all the criteria required to optimize planning (carrier, product availability, wagon compatibility, etc.). Thanks to artificial intelligence, planning no longer needs to be carried out manually, and only requires team supervision.

How are wagon capacity and availability managed in the TVMS?

The TVMS provides shippers with automated daily and monthly updates on wagon availability, factoring in planned transports. It allows shippers to see how many cars are available at each site, the loading capacity of their cars, and aligns this with daily production. A weekly view of unloading time slots further optimizes the logistics chain.

Can I know the distance covered by a wagon?

Yes. For each wagon tracked by Everysens, a monthly report is produced to calculate the number of kilometers traveled. These reports are recorded in the platform, and enable annual tracking as well.

Any assistance regarding penalties?

Everysens allows you to centralize cost management, including penalties. A better view of these penalties makes them easier to understand, and facilitates the implementation of new actions to reduce them.

Are wagons tracked in real-time?

Yes, thanks to the GPS signals received regularly by Everysens from the sensors on the wagons, we are able to indicate the position of your wagons in real time. No GPS? No problem. We have other means to track your wagons along their journey.

Does GPS tracking include an evolutionary progress status?

Throughout the journey, the wagons are tracked using GPS information transmitted by individual sensors on the wagons. This enables Everysens to notify the shipper in real time of any hazards on their train.

Can I track the arrival of an empty wagon on the production site?

Of course. Tracking an empty wagon on the production site is just as easy as tracking a loaded wagon.

Can a consignment note be created on the platform?

The consignment note is automatically created in the platform and then sent to the carrier if Everysens already has an integration with them. We can also share the consignment note with a mailing list. Contact us to find out if your carriers are already integrated with us!

How do we keep track of empty wagons?

Everysens tracks empty railcars in the same way as loaded ones: using information provided by rail operators, and GPS positions transmitted by sensors on the railcars.

Is it possible to plan recurring transport?

Yes, it is entirely possible to indicate that a transport is recurring when it is created. Determine a typical week and have it repeated as easy as an Outlook or Google Agenda!

Can I track my empty wagons?

Yes, our platform allows you to track both full and empty cars.

Is our tool designed for rail operators?

It takes a whole ecosystem to make rail transport happen. That's why our tool is designed for shippers and rail operators. Carriers can anticipate transport orders and shipments to maintain an adequate flow of operations. Our solution provides carriers with optimized transport schedules and helps them prioritize urgent shipments.

What are ETD and ETL?

ETD is the estimated time of departure of the shipment. ETL refers to the estimated time of loading the cargo onto the wagon.

How does Everysens deliver such precise ETA?

We use machine learning algorithms. We have a European database of over 30,000 stations, and the ETA updates itself every step of the way.

Why is Everysens' ETA so precise?

Inaccurate ETAs can have disastrous direct consequences for the entire supply chain: additional delays, additional costs due to penalties, degradation of service quality, impact on production... Reliable ETA is essential.

How long does it take to deploy the solution?

Based on our track record of deployments in our business sectors, it's best to plan for a three-month window, based on the size and scope of your project. It's important to bear in mind that every customer's situation is unique, and that lead times may vary: Deploying the whole of Europe or a single business unit will not require the same timeline.

How do notifications work for order placement?

Whenever a customer places an order, you will receive a notification. Additionally, if there is a delay in delivery, your end customer will also be notified.

What is ETA?

The ETA, or Estimated Time of Arrival, refers to the time at which your train or wagon is scheduled to arrive at its destination.

Are we connected to SAP and Oracle?

Yes, we collect data on orders, deliveries and shipments. Thanks to our integrated communication with SAP and Oracle, status information is constantly shared between the two systems. Most of our customers already use SAP.

What type of rail transports do we manage?

We are specialists in block trains and single wagons. We also track multimodal traffic on the rail leg.

How do we integrate rail operators?

Rail operators are fully integrated into our platform. We provide them with an easy-to-use portal that can be accessed in no time at all, offering complete, real-time visibility of all logistics processes, facilitating better collaboration with shippers.

Can I set a deadline to receive orders from my customers to schedule my transports?

Yes, you can. Advanced Ordering allows you to set a cut-off time for your customers to place orders. After this deadline, your customers won’t be able to place orders for the upcoming period. You can set and modify this deadline according to your needs.

What is a TVMS?

Everysens' TVMS (Transport Visibility & Management System) is a collaborative real-time transport visibility management platform for rail freight. It uses innovative technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analysis and GPS data from physical sensors to provide complete and accurate supply chain visibility.

Can I view all my customer orders in one place?

Yes, you can use the Agenda View to organize and manage over 100 orders from all your customers in one place. You can easily search for a specific order by entering the order number.

Can I schedule a round trip for wagons based on a single order?

Yes, Advanced Ordering allows you to schedule a round trip based on a single order. You don’t need to place separate orders for each leg of the trip. You have the flexibility to choose between a single trip, round trip, or circular trip.

What type of rail transports do you track?

The TVMS enables you to track block trains and single wagons. Multimodal traffic is taken into account on the rail leg.

How do I know where my wagons are at all times?

By logging on to the platform, you'll have access to the real-time route of your wagons. For easier understanding and optimal visualization we offer our customers an interactive map where they can have a comprehensive view of their fleet.

How are my documents safely stored?

You can directly upload your transport documents inside the TVMS platform in our Doc Vault. The Doc Vault makes sure that your documents are encrypted, and they are scanned before upload with an antivirus to detect any malware. You can also determine who has access to these documents inside your team.

How can I monitor my rail transport performances?

Our dashboards are designed to achieve clear proven ROI. We have built a large set of use cases with our customers, allowing to monitor and explore their performance in terms of costs, fulfillment rates, wagon usage, train delays and so on.

Does RALF use AI to improve transport planning?

Yes, RALF uses Artificial Intelligence to optimize transport schedules and calculate the Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA). The AI ensures that each transport order is transformed into an optimized transport plan, considering factors like car types, availability, and route selection. The ETA is continuously updated during the journey based on real-time data from intermediate points.

Do you help with RID requirements and the creation of the consignment note?

When ordering a transport on the TVMS platform, the consignment note is automatically created based on the information you’ve provided. This includes the RID categories present on the consignment note. After the creation of the consignment note, you can check that everything is in order and validate it, before sending it to your partners for validation as well.

Can RALF optimize multiple transports together in a global schedule?

No, RALF currently optimizes each transport individually rather than as part of an overall schedule. This means that while each transport is optimized for cost and efficiency, the interactions between different transports (e.g., reducing the parking of empty cars) are not considered in the current optimization process.

How does RALF optimize the transport schedule?

RALF, the intelligent assistant, optimizes transport schedules by transforming the shipper's order into an optimized transport plan. When an order is submitted, RALF determines the optimal train composition, route, carrier choice, and schedules for departure and delivery. Various factors are considered, such as car availability, loading and unloading site availability, and financial optimization, ensuring the most cost-effective solution.

How is the ETA calculated by RALF?

The Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) is continuously calculated throughout the journey by considering the schedules at various intermediate points along the route. The platform updates the ETA thanks to machine learning, based on any potential delays detected at these checkpoints, ensuring the most accurate arrival time is provided.
