IDEO, a subsidiary of ID Logistics, and Everysens sign a contract to connect a fleet of Danone Eaux France wagons.

IDEO, a multi-client operational management platform subsidiary of ID Logistics, and the start-up Everysens, specialising in the traceability of mobile assets and Supply Chain optimisation, today signed a contract to connect an entire fleet of wagons of Danone Eaux France, a client of IDEO.

The contract therefore launches the equipment of some 1200 wagons with intelligent sensors. Thanks to the internet of objects, these sensors communicate in real time with a software platform, which aggregates, translates and cross-references this data according to the customer's needs.

Cettesolution provides total visibility on the location of wagons in service. Danone can thus know in real time the state of the wagon: running, maintenance, stop in transit, parking, etc. In the future, prediction algorithms will also be implemented to anticipate delays and other hazards on the route.

"Joining forces with a logistics giant to have an impact on the Supply Chain of a well-known industrial company like Danone is a major step forward for our start-up. For our part, like IDEO, our teams have invested a lot to make rail logistics more transparent, agile and efficient. It is therefore a great pleasure to see this project come to fruition", rejoices Youness Lemrabet, founder of Everysens.

"This contract is the culmination of more than 8 months of intense work maturing ideas, testing, adjustments and challenges. Proposing such an innovation in the railway sector requires an excellent understanding of the processes and business issues of our suppliers and customers, in this case Danone Eaux France", adds Emmanuel Guérin, Managing Director of IDEO.
