Pélagie Mepin-Koebel joined Everysens - the French software provider - on 1 June as the new country director for Germany. She assumes overall responsibility for the new German subsidiary of the transport and visibility management platform, which specialises in rail logistics.
In her role, Pélagie Mepin-Koebel will manage the market entry, establish the brand in the DACH region and develop the first customers in industries such as chemical, steel and cement. In France, shippers such as Arkema and HeidelbergCement France are already users of the Everysens solution.
The ESCP Europe graduate previously worked in Germany for over 20 years as a marketing manager in international logistics companies such as Pfenning Logistics and the Nagel-Group. When she joined the freight marketplace Timocom five years ago, she switched to the software side of logistics.
"What better time than now to integrate Everysens, in a context where rail has demonstrated its relevance, particularly during the pandemic, and where the climate crisis requires a reduction in greenhouse gases" says Pélagie Mepin-Koebel"The choice of Everysens for an implementation in Germany is even more relevant. Indeed, located in the centre of Europe, Germany offers concrete and important opportunities for rail freight".
