The Handelsblatt Jahrestagung Zukunft Stahl 2025 will be held from 19 to 21 March 2025 in Essen, bringing together experts and leaders from the steel sector to debate the industry's strategic challenges and opportunities. The event will address crucial issues such as decarbonisation, energy transition, technological innovation and geopolitical risks.
The main terms to be addressed will be decarbonisation (Strategies to reduce CO₂ emissions and achieve climate neutrality), energy transition (Adapting to new energy sources and managing energy costs), technological innovation (Integrating digitalisation and new technologies into industrial processes) and geopolitical risks (Analysing global uncertainties and their impact on the competitiveness of the steel industry).
